RealSonicKings - 293,100 points on EHZ 2 in 1 run? What?
« on: March 19, 2016, 03:36:10 pm »
I saw this pop up in my Twitter feed, and frankly, I can't even begin to comprehend how this score is possible to achieve in 1 run of this level. Can I get some kind of explanation as to how you did this RealSonicKings? Because you're almost 200,000 points above everyone else on TSC on this level.
See for yourself.

Looks like a "typo".

I've also noticed many of his other scores are either matching previous #1s, or are within 1000.

RealSonicKings, can you verify how you've obtained these scores?

Time for me to finally unleash my infobesity :D.

Times (Get it? Time for me to unleash all my info, and im starting with times? ...Whatever):

I remember PMing RealSonicKings thanking him for finally getting us 0:18 on Emerald Hill 1 and he responded with this:

"oh your welcome I'm just sorry I don't have a video of the 18 but your more than welcome to check out my 35 Run on Emerald Hill 2 on youtube"

Weird how he doesn't have video proof, right?

Also, on his 0:40 Chemical Plant 2 on youtube ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSPG1K90Sp8 ), in the description he says "1 second away from wr but i already have it just dont have it recorded"

I noticed this yesterday, but apparently hes also somehow beaten stankski in total time by a WHOLE MINUTE. Remember, stankski was mainly champion of Sonic 2 times for a whole decade before this guy showed up and beat all but 2 of his records in ONE DAY with 3p in the overall section. Okay, not really in one day, but he submitted 34/41 (not including the overall leaderboard) of his S2 time stats in one day, 32 of which were records.

In addition, I noticed this guy beat the legendary TeeNTee314! If you don't know who TeeNTee is, he owns a 0p championship in S1 times; But more importantly: Look at this playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzO4NtvTGZiEGRqRjRb6N3FBtt9bLNtGR . Now look at this http://www.soniccenter.org/members/realsonickings/sonic_2/times%7Cview:complete . (Now back to me, now back to this...) Go to Casino Night 2 and you'll see RealSonicKings did better than TeeNTee. If I remember correctly, TeeNTee has never been beaten in any of his S1 and S2 times he has made before.

But most of all, this guy got all these times in under six months of competing in S2, when it took stankski 20 times as long only to get a minute slower in total time than this guy.

Rings: I'm not too suspicious about rings, since ring records seem pretty simple (I'm horrible at them though :(, someone help me ;~;). However, its notable how these were all done on 3-17-16...

Scores: They're pretty high on the leaderboard, most of them seem doable somehow though except for Emerald Hill 2. It's probably meant to say 93,100 instead of 293,100 though. These were all also done on 3-17-16.

Special: Seem ridiculously good, but I guess they're possible somehow.

...Also (almost) all submitted on 3-17-16.

Overall: Personally, I think this guy is probably just someone who is really good, but the lack of video proof makes me wonder. And the fact he submitted them all on one day is strange...

But those time stats are very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very suspicious.

I do my research, don't I? :)

I would say so, yes. Very insightful I must say… does leave quite a few questions I'll say…

I found his youtube and noticed that he used the 3DS version of this game. I was told by SonicAD (I think) that the DS version of the classic Sonics weren't allowed for competition for some reason I can't remember, which is why I didn't use it myself. So no idea about the 3DS version. Just letting you know.

Last time I visited SG3DS leaderboards (in-game) you had only few times visible on leaderboard, e.g. iirc me and Groudon and were only ones so far to get all Special Stages with perfect times. Of course this is doable, but as you have many other huge time/boss and ring records (Classic Green Hill Rings, Diamond was once called out for not having a proof about it) with no video or stat on leaderboard, it'd be cool to see at least a picture-proof to these.
FIRST ONE TO GET PLATINUM IN SONIC GENERATIONS!!!!

That awkward moment when...

I would like to see video proof of Oil Ocean 2 as Knuckles as I was sure at the time it was maxed because I worked hard at it and found some really hard combos.

Lol so this might be quite weird posting this now when this sites competition is basically dead but i will explain that most of the problem was indeed faked records yes You heard me. I was not aware you could submit proof records by linking the videos into your runs comment at the time either. I will say this though I was able to create anouther account which suprisingly is not banned but all the records are legit. It scares me if anouther faker decides to create fake records on anouther account. I truely was stupid for submiting fasle stats. If you could unban this account from submissions that would be nice and I promise i wont submit false stats again you have my word. But about the other account I created I am aware more than one account was also against the rules will leave it up to you to figure out which one it is it should not be to hard. If for whatever reason you decide to unban this account from submissions and figure out the name of the other account It can go because I perfer this account tbh.

If you have to submit this, then you clearly don't know how getting unbanned works ( 'w') Lemme explain it real quick for you: Do your stuff on Cyberscore and become trusted enough there to get unbanned here
Dunno if they allow you to stay if you have video proof of all your videos, though. The reason your other account isn't banned, though, is due to the site being dead af. That basically screwed you over, though. Should've just stayed quiet

Just a very small reminder that anyone can promise anything with words. As truthful as you may be, the mods and admins have no reason to believe you, sorry to say
